12/8/2023 0 Comments Pro tools vs logic x![]() I don't want unnecessary send faders on every track. I don't want "Six aux sends already patched up with returns and default effects in place." If I want a reverb, I create a send from the track(s) that need it, and if I want an EQ before the 'verb, I put one there. But then again, I was a recording engineer for many years, and Pro Tools "thinks" like a zeroed-out studio when you walk in as an engineer at the beginning of a project, which I prefer. For many electronic artists, this means FL Studio and Ableton Live, because they assume from the start that you're making music that's to a constant tempo grid, and you may want to use loops.įor me, Pro Tools thinks like I think. ![]() The best DAW for you is the DAW that thinks the way you think, of course.
